Traffic Information

We will go and pick you up to the Sendai Airport and Tohoku University (Aobayama campus) by bus on September 8th (Sun.). And we will take you to the Sendai Airport and Tohoku University (Aobayama campus) by bus on September 12th (Thu.). So, participants do not have to be concerned about the way to Montana Resort Iwanuma. But if you travel to Montana Resort Iwanuma by yourself with a certain reason, the following transportations are available.

By train

You will buy a train ticket (590 Yen) and get on a train bound for Sendai (仙台) at Sendai Airport station. The Sendai Airport Access line will take you to Natori (名取) station in 10 min. Then you change trains at Natori station. You can use any trains bound for Hama-yoshida (浜吉田), Shiroishi (白石), Fukushima (福島), Iwanuma (岩沼), Koriyama (郡山), Yanagawa(梁川), Matsukawa (松川) and Ogawara (大河原). Please get off a train at Iwanuma station. From Iwanuma station to Montana Resort, the best way is to take a hotel bus. You can use a hotel bus for free. You can also choose taxi or city bus. When you use a taxi, it will take 5 min and the fee is about 700 Yen. The city bus will start from the west side of the station, and get on the bus bound for Shimin-kaikanmae (市民会館前). The bus will take you to ‘Greenpia’ in 15 min and the fee is 200 Yen.

By car
From Sendai Airport, taxi will take you to Montana Resort Iwanuma about 20 min. The fare is about 2800 Yen.
